Beyond the Veil is a national group exhibition juried by curator and educator Kate McNamara. This evocative show invites viewers to explore the boundaries between the tangible and the intangible, as artists draw from dreams, myth, and the unknown to image what lies beyond our everyday reality.

Featuring works across fiber, ceramics, mixed media, sculpture, painting, drawing, textiles, and video, the exhibition offers a portal into alternate perceptions of time, place and identity.

Highlights include Alexa Cushing’s photographs inspired by the paranormal lore of the Bridgewater Triangle, Salma Islam’s speculative lens on the hijab as a veil between worlds, and Dominick Cocozza’s playful and personal storytelling through the eyes of Guatemalan doll figures. Together, the artists in Beyond the Veil challenge our understanding of the real, revealing spiritual and supernatural potentials through both traditional and digital media. Step into the uncanny and discover what might exist just out of sight.
