Join us in celebrating the opening of All Glory, Laud, and Honor, an Exhibition Proposal Series show by Marcus W. Clarke, on September 12 from 6 – 8 pm.
Through mixed media sculptures and technology, Clarke challenges the inherent contradictions within American Christian subcultures, such as violent imagery, Zionist propaganda, far-right sympathies, and more.
Raised under the expansive central Texas sky, Marcus W. Clarke describes his work as both pastoral and foreboding. Thematically, his practice engages with “negative theology,” exploring the unknowability of God and the space left open for theological questioning.
