Gallery 263 is pleased to present three free opportunities for any artists who have exhibited with us in the past. From juried shows, Exhibition Proposal Series, or the Small Works Project, we’d like to invite you back for a homecoming season.
Call for Winter Market Makers
We are excited to host our first-ever winter market December 11 – 13, dedicated to alumni artists and makers. If you’re an artist interested in selling your work with us, please email [email protected] with the following in a single pdf: images of 10-15 items or works that you’d like to sell, including dimensions, materials, year, and price.
This call is only open to artists who have been featured in one of our prior exhibition opportunities. Vendors will keep 100% of sales in exchange for a $20 tabling fee.
Submissions for the market will be reviewed by a subset of Gallery 263 staff. Please share all materials no later than November 13 at 11:59 pm ET. Vendors will be notified by November 18.
Call for Alumni Pop Up Show
Gallery 263 is excited to welcome in the new year with our first-ever Alumni Show. Artists who have participated in any of our past exhibition opportunities are invited to apply to showcase new work! This opportunity is ideal for creatives who want to connect with fellow Gallery 263 artists and sew connections for the new year.
In this Google Form, please share 3-5 works with date, dimensions, and materials for consideration alongside a CV with proof of past feature at Gallery 263. In lieu of a standard artist statement, we ask that you submit a brief written reflection on how Gallery 263 has impacted your career or practice (no longer than 250 words).
This opportunity is open to all artists who have displayed their work at Gallery 263 through exhibitions including the Small Works Project, Exhibition Proposal Series, or a nationally juried show. Artists must apply as individuals, not as a group.
This pop up exhibition will be internally juried by Gallery 263 staff and board, and will run from January 14 – 30, 2027. Submissions are due no later than November 28 at 11:59 pm ET.
Call for Workshops
We invite any alumni artists who love to teach and connect with our local community to host a workshop with us!
If you have a workshop proposal, please email [email protected] with the following information:
- Workshop title (can be tentative) and brief, 1-2 sentence description
- Ideal date and time
- Any supplies needed
- Potential ticket price
This opportunity is completely flexible depending on your schedule. Gallery 263 will handle marketing and promoting the event.
As a thank you for sharing your work and expertise with us, all workshops will operate on a 70/30 split, with the facilitator retaining 70% of ticket sales.
Proposals will be reviewed by a subset of Gallery 263 staff and board on a rolling basis until January 31.
How to apply
To submit to the Winter Market (November 11 deadline) or share a workshop proposal (January 31 deadline), please email Sophia Day directly at [email protected] with the required materials listed above. To submit to the pop up exhibition (November 28 deadline), please submit materials through this Google Form.
All communication and installation decisions are conducted by Gallery 263. Please read the full information below prior to applying to the pop up exhibition.
