April 12 @ 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm
Join us on Friday, April 12 for an artists talk with Lucie March, Martha Schnee, and Lena Warnke. This event is moderated by Jameson Johnson, a writer, curator, and community organizer based in Boston.
I wake up in your bed—a group exhibition by March, Schnee, and Warnke—is on view at the gallery through April 20. In this exhibition, the artists deal in desire and collaboration. They are Somerville neighbors who have been friends since high school. They are lovers who met at a lesbian wedding down the street. They are sisters who have been photographing each other for a decade. This exhibition is an invitation into the soft tissue of their lives.
