August 26, 2023 @ 7:30 pm – 10:00 pm
Doors at 7:30 pm; Screening at 8 pm
Join us on Saturday, August 26, for an exclusive film screening with 2023 artist-in-residence Lilan Yang. Nowhere Near, a solo showcase by Yang, is on view at the gallery through August 28. This event is a rare opportunity to view many of Yang’s unedited, shot-on-camera short films in the evocative Kodak Black & White Reversal. Yang’s MFA thesis film, Everything Comes Full Circle, will also be featured with a new score by London-based composer Julian Tran. This event is free and open to all.
