About the The Korean Cultural Society of Boson
The Korean Cultural Society of Boson (KCSB) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, founded in October, 2012. KCSB provides opportunities for the Greater Boston area to learn and engage with arts, culture, and heritage of Korea while simultaneously empowering and promoting the Korean American community. In recent worldwide trend & movements of K-culture: “Hallyu”, we’ve been actively engaged with local communities & multi-cultural groups beyond Korean-American population. We’ve participated in the recent Museum of Fine Arts Boston’s Hallyu exhibition this year and have been continuously collaborated with the Peabody Essex Museum in Salem and Chinese-American arts & cultural community through the PAO Art Center. KCSB Arts Committee has been hosted its annual members’ exhibition at the Lexington Art & Craft Center for 11th years. Many of our core members are actively involved in community studios such as Harvard Ceramics, Mudflat Studio, Framingham & Sudbury art communities, Sommerville or Natick Open Studios. The KCSB also has its strong music committee which can be collaborated with us providing dynamic atmosphere for our future shows.
