Programs

As a multifunctional art space, the gallery offers a variety of events for community members of all kinds.

Yoga

Yoga classes are offered on Monday and Wednesday evenings. Join instructors for hatha and vinyasa classes in a restorative environment, where you will be able to take in the contemporary art on view.

Life Drawing Boston

Life drawing sessions, hosted by Life Drawing Boston, are offered on Tuesday evenings. This is an uninstructed event for anyone who enjoys or is curious about drawing from a live model.

Artist talks and workshops

The gallery hosts a number of artist talks and workshops every year. Each Exhibition Proposal Series show is typically accompanied by an artist talk. Talks are free and open to the public.

Artist-run workshops are offered both concurrently with programming and independently by artists. Past workshops include screen printing, gelatin plate printmaking, media collage, and bookmaking. To pitch a workshop, email [email protected].

Event rentals

With high tin ceilings, plentiful natural light, and a revolving display of artwork, Gallery 263 is a beautiful and unique venue for private events. The gallery space has been rented for intimate weddings, baby showers, birthday parties, musical performances, and more.

Fundraising events

As a nonprofit, the gallery holds a number of special events and fundraisers to raise money. Join us for the one-of-a-kind Foraged Banquet in the fall, the lively Birthday Bash party in the spring, or special events that occur on an occasional basis, such as art auctions.
